Research/Research Interest
My graduation project is focused on the removal of boron and other heavy metals from industrial water by adsorption on activated carbon. The activated carbon will be prepared from used tires and would be activated using different methods.

My internship here at Duke University will allow me to study the interaction forces between lactose particles and two types of drugs to improve the drug delivery using several techniques that include AFM, XPS, and FTIR.
