Research Interest

Biomedical instrumentation is of at most interest to me. I am also very interested in transport and delivery of drugs especially with regards to cancer research.

Research Project

Transport of Liposomal Drugs in Solid Tumors: I am exploring the possible cure for glaucoma through a drug called ethacrynic acid (ECA). ECA shrinks the trabecular meshwork in the eye to decrease intraocular pressure thus alleviating glaucoma. I am to find the optimal concentration of this drug and its time of treatment that does not prove to be toxic, yet is still effective on the cells.

Outside interests

Travel, dance, piano, and reading anything but science books
