Undergraduate Education

  • Currently earning a BS in Biosystems Engineering, Biotechnology Concentration at Clemson University; projected graduation 2005
  • Duke CBIMMS REU Fellow in Chemistry, 2004

Research Interest
For my summer project, I will be investigating if I can grow a non-biofouling polymer on carbon nanotubes using the Curved LArge Molecular Partners (CLAMPs) molecule. Also, I will be experimenting with various factors that produce CLAMPs. By obtaining the best condition for each factor, the dispersion of carbon nanotubes should be the best.

Outside Interests
Lifting weights, outside activities/sports, reading, playing on computer, listening to music, hanging out with friends
