Research Interest
I am Junior at North Carolina State University interested in biomaterials and tissue engineering. I plan to continue my education in graduate school.

Research Project
I am working in Dr. David Needham's lab exploring the world of micro particles. I will be making emulsions from a two phase system in an effort to understand micro droplet formation. I am also studying micro spheres and their applications in drug delivery. I am interested in how micro particles can be used in tissue engineering.

Outside Interests
I enjoy listening to music, arts and crafts, cooking, eating, and perforrming community service. I am a Caldwell Fellow at NC State, a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
